SHED Co-living Riga

I want to leave a review about a place that I can sincerely call my home.I lived in ShED for almost a year. During this time, I really fell in love with this place and my little nest.As a person who temporarily settled in Riga, it was very convenient for me that the apartment was fully equipped with all the necessary kitchen equipment. It was so cool to be able to decorate my home to my own taste, shop for home trinkets and decorate my space. Access to the gym has become a separate advantage and contribution to my health. The gym is excellently equipped and comfortable to use.The Shed area deserves special praise. It was always nice to go out on the terrace and drink a cup of coffee or spend time with friends enjoying the evening sun.The location of the property is extremely convenient: in a quiet picturesque area, but 15 minutes from the city center and 10 minutes from the shopping center.As a person who works and is often on business trips, it was a special advantage for me that there was constant security. And the SED managers were happy to help solve any questions. Anna and Sanda, thank you very much for your hospitality and professional work!Maybe see you again soon!I already really miss my little Latvian island of comfort and safety))

Great stay, I was living in SHED for the last 6 months, had great experience, amenities are great. Anna and Sanda are very friendly hosts, they looked after me the entire stay. Great internet, great gym, really enjoyed me staying there. Only thing i swish, rooms would have air condition, but building is concrete so just opening my window would keep my room cool in the summer.

SHED Co-living is a fantastic place for students to live. It offers a peaceful environment, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, and great amenities. It's a hidden gem that provides the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and community.

As a student living at SHED I have found everything to make daily life as comfortable as possible. With amenities such as the laundry room, indoor gym, public study area all at one place, managing my time has become easier. The space is clean and well organised.The staff is warm and always forthcoming about any question/complaint.Could not recommend this place enough.Thank you!

Мы были в этом месте ещё до окрытия. Всё что необходимо для жизни есть в лофте. То что Вы видите на фотографиях, плюс полностью оборудованная кухня в комнате (микроволновка, холодильник, чайник,тарелки ,чашки стаканы,сковорода ,кастрюлю, и лопатка для еды,разделочная доска,ножи,вилки и ложки столовые не увидели). Местопросто супер очень рекомендую!

Three construction areas around the building, one starting at 7 am with hammer drill in the morning and they still increased the rental prices 50 Euros per months. You cant open the windows because its so loud. Wifi not always stable in the rooms, depending on which room you get. More about profit than about comfort.

Let's start this off with the positives.Amenities:You do get a lot of amenities like a gym on site and game rooms/lounge areas where you can meet new people.Fresh and new:The building is brand new, and everything is fresh and updated.But that's where the positives end. Onto the negatives.Heavy surveillance, the building is way too heavily surveyed even for someone living there, SHED seems to make most of their money on issuing fines and fees, as an example, you need to inform the administrator in advance if you have friends coming over and provide ID's, if you don't- you get hit with a 100 euro fine. Trash - if you put it in the wrong container, you'll get hit with an absurd 500 euro fine.Even on 3rd and 4th floors, the windows are locked, so they don't open sideways, which makes it hard to ventilate and cool down in the summer(literally what the f shed???)The advertised Playstation room does require you to sign that you are the one using it, and on it, you have to have your own account and games if you want to play, crazy.The price, being honest, you're paying a good 20-30% higher than the local average, and there are certainly better options elsewhere.Construction nearby, I guess this will not apply in some time, but as of right now, there is heavy construction from 6-7 am, and it really doesn't help people staying in building B.So yeah, if you're looking for a long-term stay, I'd suggest looking elsewhere, but for a 3-5 night stay, the price is quite a good deal.
