Lasite is the place one should visit in Riga. Gkod very good food and wondeful soft and low alcohol bewerages are setved here. The local tavern is hidden but definitely that makes it better for visiting. Meat is very good here so stronlgy recoomend. Price level is reoevant to the location of the pub. Service is very good and my dish was coocked really in good time.

This tucked away restaurant may be a bit hard to find, but it definitely provides an authentic atmosphere and some great food choices. You'll notice the friendly staff as soon as you come in, and they'll do their best to find you a place if not full - smaller place so maybe a reservation might be needed. There is an authentic feel to the place, and the live music really added to this atmosphere. We started with their garlic bread - great, crunchy outside and soft inside with great dip. For main courses, we had the deer steak and pork chop. Both came out nicely cooked and tasted great. The waitress took our picture when the main courses came out - nice touch. I will say they could have used another waiter/waitress as it got busy - she was hopping trying to keep up with the business. Overall, it was a great meal and a unique restaurant. Thanks.

A true gem.Not only did we have the nicest waitress and a really good ambience- the food was simply spectacular.My wife had flambéed bananas, and two (!) more desserts.I enjoyed a spectacular sweet and sour soup and skewers with marinated venison.Everything was simply perfect. And the atmosphere war great, too. Candlelit tables, a ukulele player strumming away softly, just a great setting.We loved it and will return when we come back to Riga.

Great atmosphere outdoors and really historical appearance indoors. They play medieval style music to add to the appeal. Unfortunately, the food was just so so. I had a duck leg the was pretty dry and lacked much flavor. I would try it again just based on atmosphere.

Once in a lifetime experience, this restaurant truly takes you back in time to the Medieval Ages! Go inside to sit in a wood tables with candles, wolf skins hanging on the wall behind you, enjoy fresh-baked bread, meat and wine. Dine like a king and feast with your friends and family while listening to medieval music.This restaurant is also vegetarian friendly. Definitely a must-visit in Riga!

This restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience with authentic Latvian flavors. The 'Thin pancakes Lāsite" with berry sauce and ice cream' were not only delicious but also beautifully presented - the pancakes were adorably cute and the ice cream was adorned with a crown of fruit

Okay, this was a wierd one.. We heard the food was good, so we went there. We were amazed at first, by the beautiful decor and the atsmofere. The owner gave us a story about the place, and we loved it. We got some beer, and a starter of a lovely, bounzy bread.But then it came to the actual food.. We orderd their medival menu, which consists of different meats, that you choose your self. We orderd catfish, quial, spiny lobster and dear, with the house wine, besides the drink that followed the menu.Well.. The waiter takes over, and even though it is just us 2 People and 6 others, she kinda forgot us. We tried to get her attention in any way that didn't involve us looking like dumb turists (whistling, calling etc). But she was very interested in her phone a lot of the time, so I ended up, going up to her instead. . .We didnt get our drink we orderd to the food, only the one that came with the menu (a very sweet mead)When food came, the catfish was not that bad, but very salty and stingy. The dear was overcooked and chewy all the way though. The quial was dry, and lacked some flavour. But the spiny lobster was good, just sad it was such a little bite.I will say, this place is good for a beer/drinks with friends, and the snacks are fine.But for 92 euro, our visit was not very pleasing for that amount of money.

Medieval restaurant In the center of Riga, it’s a lil bit aligned for tourist but they are very friendly and the food taste also good nothing special it’s a solid food you can get deer chicken beef what ever you want
