Vienkārši un nedārgi

Tiem, kas piedzīvojuši Padomju laikus un dienesta vasarnīcu laikus, jauka atmiņu pilna uz nostalģiju velkoša vieta. Iekštelpas nespēj konkurēt ar netālu esošo Jūrmala SPA, bet cenas arī tam ir atbilstošas. Pieļauju, ka viesnīca ziemā nestrādā, jeb uzņem tikai pingvīnus, jo logi ir diezgan briesmīgi. Lai arī krāsns istabiņā ir, šaubos vai tā spēj piesildīt telpu. Bet vasaras sezonai nekāda vaina. Ak jā, tualete ir tikai 1. stāvā.

Our second stay here, and I'd choose it again. Exactly as described, it is simple to boot, but super clean, tidy, and functional. Think a hostel with shared bathroom, common showers, and a shared kitchen, only in a huge light and bright building, with massive clean rooms. Rooms are ascetic but ornate at the same time - there is single beds for as many people as you have I'm the room (doubles or triples), a little side table and a chair for each, a simple desk and a closet. Sheets and a towel are provided. The rooms were majorly renovated during covid, so the paint is fresh and the mattresses are totally fine. In the kitchen there's two small fridges, two single burner stoves, a kettle, a sink, and also a bunch of plates/cups/cutlery. The property is large, with srveral plastic outdoor tables/chairs set up for common use. There's parking for tens of cars, and the owners never object to you leaving a car there before and after check-in, as everyone is spending the days on the beach anyway. The location couldn't be better, steps off the main strip (Jomas street) with shops and restaurants, and two grocery stores accross the street. It's also 5min away from Majori train station, for an easy ride to Riga. Basically, I love the place. My only, really, only complaint is a complete lack of wifi on the second floor. At first thought there was some, but nope, none. For someone with a local data plan it wouldn't be a problem, for others without it, you basically have to go downstairs to the common room or just hallways to connect. Nowadays, very, very annoying and frankly unacceptable. We had one room on the first floor and two on the second, and the first floor next to the router worked fine. So: request a room on the 1st floor and enjoy your stay! Also, note that the bathrooms are on the 1st floor only, so 2nd floor would be hard for anyone with walking issues. Will stay there again, and strongly recommend!

Дешево . Туалет на этаже. Душ тоже . Настоящий Юрмальский климат . Tanio . WC na korytarzu . Prysznic też. Ale to jest właśnie prawdziwy klimat tego miasta. Polecam

Милые и отзывчивые хозяева. Делают всё,чтобы вам было комфортно. Это Гостевой дом, а не гостиница с колличеством звёзд-не стоит предъявлять завышенных требований. Для того,чтобы переночевать и самим приготовить еду-самый удобный и дешёвый вариант для Юрмалы. Удобное расположение- ж/д станция, море,магазины- всё рядом.Чистое постельное бельё и удобные кровати. На кухне есть всё необходимое. Новые душевые кабины. Туалет на каждом этаже. А скрипучие половицы и лестница придают дому особую изюминку. WiFi и бесплатная парковка.

Parkkipaikka oli pihalla joka lukitaan yöksi ja automme oli turvassa.Sijainti on hyvä ja yöpyminen halpaa.Henkilökunta ei osannut englantia muuta kuin mainospuheet esim. tässä keittiö jne.Huone vaikutti hyvältä mutta äänieristeitä ei ole lainkaan, joten kun ensimmäiset asukkaat heräsivät aamulla aikaisin niin sen jälkeen ei saanut enää unta. Lattiat natisivat ja kaikki puhe kuului kauhean kovaa huoneeseemme.Vessat ja kaikki tilat olivat todella vanhoja ja rähjäisiä.Varaukseemme ei saanut tehtyä muutosta ja emme saaneet rahojamme takaisin vaikka lähdimme aikaisemmin.

Definitely for low-budget travellers. Clean and quite spacious room with old-style furniture, shared shower rooms for men and women and kitchen for guests use with fridge, oven etc. Perfect location close to the beach and the main boulevard. Friendly Russian-speaking staff. If you don't expect four star accomodation, it's a reasonable choice.

A nice, clean and oldschool place in the very center of Jūrmala.Very kind administration staff; they have everything you need in the kitchen, and are always willing to help you if you have some questions or troubles.We really enjoyed having breakfast in the outside area, in the sun. Although there is a nice restaurant just right next by the corner. This place is rather old, but lovely.

Patogi vieta - arti transporto mazgai. Nuoširdūs šeimininkai. Bet...iš antro aukšto praustis tenka leistis į pirmą. Namas senas, švaros kaip ir pakanka. Nakvojau tik vieną naktį. Manau, kad kaina per aukšta, nes komfortas minimalus.
