Ļoti jauks muzejs. Skaisti iekārtots jūgenstila laika dzīvoklis. Darbinieki ļoti atsaucīgi un jauki, visi tērpušies tā laika drēbēs, pastāstīs interesantus faktus un atbild uz jautājumiem. Patika iespēja pielaikot cepures un nofotogrāfēties. Ģimenes biļete 10 eur. Noteikti ir apmeklējuma vērts, patika gan bērniem gan pieaugušajiem

Climb up 5 stairs and pay 2€ for a tourist trap. Some random paintings and sofas without descriptions in 2 rooms. The staircase was quite nice though.

Feels like a tourist trap. I was very disappointed. Doesn’t live up to the hype and not with the 9 euros unless you enjoy smelly, dark, dusty time capsules.The house is dark, dusty, and smells bad in spots. The place could use better lighting and some cleaning/brightening.Better art nouveau to look at can be found in the store across the street.The staircase is the highlight and that is visible before you enter the museum, so you can walk in and just see it for yourself.Note: The museum looks closed even when it is open; they keep all the doors shut.I enhanced my photos to improve the pictures, but the museum is actually much darker.

Only visited Riga because of its art nouveau so of course this place was a must visit. Only paid 2 euro entry (on an Wednesday in April, your fee may vary) including photo permission, so that is a bargain. Nicely recreated apartment, descriptions of the rooms are available on cards in several languages as you enter them. the interactive exhibition was a bit hit & miss though in my opinion. WC facilities are available.

If you've been enjoying the gorgeous Art Nouveau buildings all over central Riga, and especially on Alberta iela, you are highly likely to love this museum!Go in at least for the glorious shared central staircase (free to view), but the apartment too is a beautiful joy to explore and well worth the entrance fee.I recommend also to take a tour before visiting this museum, a tour about art nouveau in Riga.

Nice little museum with attentive, friendly staff. The photo studio with hats is very entertaining. The art nouveau apartment was my favorite part. I recommend to visit it before your city walk, so you'd learn about the famous art nouveau buildings and would be able to spot it later.

Absolutely my favourite olace..beautifully kept and decorated.Staff dressed in beautiful period costumes and so kind You can try on hats to your heart's delight

Such a lovely place! You'd except the museum to be mostly just text on walls for reading, but it's actually very interactive and fun! My favourite part was that you could design your own art nouveau building and diploma and print them out, it's so nice that there was creative part too:). But the rest of the museum is just as fun and entertaining.The house part is very well remade and so beautiful ♡
