The atmosphere was pretty traditional. Portions were big and cheap. And of course meals were so delicious. Staff were kind and helpful. Two main dishes, three side dishes, one juice, one dessert all costed 18€. So must visit!

The food I tried was very good. I didnt expect anything outstanding since Lido is a lunchroom-like chain, but what I ate (grilled chicken, chicken kebap, mashed potatoes, garlic sauce, strawberries and cream) was very good. The service was average, since at one point I had to wait quite some time before getting served the mashed potatoes. They were within reach but I was forbidden to help myself to them, I had to wait for staff, who unfortunately was too busy serving people who had gotten on the line after I did.

Great food! Cheap prices and the food tastes delicious. It's self-service, so don't expect anything fancy. The staff was friendly and one guy even showed me around the place when I asked which dishes were typical Latvian. Definitely worth a stop if you're on a budget or just want a quick bite or just want to try Latvian food without having to pay tourist prices in Old Town.

When visiting Riga, this is a tourist MUST at least once! Huge selection of local cuisine, beers, desserts all beautiful presented in buffet style.This Lido also happens to be beautifully decorated in an authentic Latvian style. Feels as if you’re eating in a small village. Our only complaint was that the food could have been warmer. Other than that, lunch for two $22.00 USA. Great value and would absolutely come again!

Pleasantly surprised by Lido! I was able to get a protein, carbs, salad, dessert, an extra pancake, and a soft drink for just over €10. The portions were huge and tasted delicious! It’s a really good option when you’re on a budget or can’t quite decide what you want to eat. The size of this meal will last me all day so I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to save money but still experience local/regional cuisine.
