Neskaidra norēķinu karšu politika. Tiek iekasēti vairāk kā 200 euro par to,ka nav kreditkarte. Never again! Papildinājumā,aizejot uz auto placi,konstatējām, ja auto sāni saskrāpēti,salonā krēsli pkeķaini. Auto ārkārtīgi neekonomisks!17.9 litri . Ar LT numuriem. Viss tas būtu vēl nekas,taču visvairāk saniknoja apjalpojošā klerka attieksme un runas maniere. Palikusi šausmīgi nejauka pēcgarša uz dvēseles. Jau iesmejam par to,ka šis kantoris,droši vien arī atradīs iemeslus,lai tikai neatgrieztu drošības naudu,kas,cita starpā ir visai liela.

A few recommendations if you decide to hire a car (at this place, but maybe even from Hertz in common):I booked a car through a third party website, which worked well. Car was supposed to be from Thrifty, but turns out to be just Hertz upon arrival. No problem when the car and service is good. Prepaid with full insurance coverage included so you expect to say hi at the counter, show your passport and driver’s license and get the key. 1 minute max, right? Not really…Upon arrival the process is to ask many question in an extreme tempo. Fast enough to not understand it exactly but make you feel obliged to answer with the same speed as the queue behind you is waiting. You just feel something is not right…When you indicate that you already bought the services the representative is offering he, again in high speed, explains to you that it’s not correct but he has a solution for reduced price. “Especially for you”. Especially for you my a**, especially for Hertz’s profit you mean!When it turns out you plan to visit any other country, you have to pay € 10,- per day extra for the full duration of your rental, regardless of the amount of days abroad. But again, “special price for you”.You can choose to pay for a full tank in advance. It is cheaper than refueling yourself, but you must ensure that you return the car with a near empty tank. Every drop extra in the tank upon return = less fuel for Hertz to add and is direct profit. Hence this option.Many different screens are opened to get the information in place. And I thought that I entered that completely in advance!?Then you arrive at the parking lot. Again, route to the parking lot explained in high tempo. ‘We have your money so get out of my sight, I’ve got more people to rob’.After a decent search finding the (actually great, must say) car. It is that new that controls are nearly fully digital and that USB is only type C…and no representative in miles to help or advise.Summarizing, If you anyway go for this rental company:- Ensure that you understand and agree with what the representative says. The more money from you, the higher his/hers commission most likely. You not understanding is in their best interest.- It’s absolute and direct scam! Be alert!- Mentioning (!!!) going abroad will result into reticules extra charges. You pay for renting a car, you should be able to drive wherever you want, no charges extra.The one star is for the car which was great and the representative receiving the car upon return, who actually treated as may be expected. For the rest, avoid this company by miles.

Huge, huge SCAMMERS run this office!!!! My spouse booked a car online for a work trip. He got there and they claimed to cancel his reservation an hour before he landed stating the reason for cancellation was they didn’t have his flight details. They then offered to give him another car at double the reservation booking. He was told “companies pay more all the time it’s no big deal.” I went to hertz online to make a new reservation while my husband was standing there and was able to get the exact same booking and price he originally booked. When my husband told this to the agent he then made some flimsy excuses allegedly rebooked my husbands booking and asked him to come back in 15 minutes to let the system update. My husband went to get a coffee and when he returned the agent was gone and the lights were turned off.Now the agent did eventually return and my husband was given a car also reportedly an upgrade since that was “all that is left for the day.” But he had to really push for it and show them he could book a new reservation at the original rate after multiple offers to give him a car at a price above the booking rate. Also, be aware if you don’t prepay, and are told to book and pay there, once all the taxes are applied (that you couldn’t see on the booking) your booking could be a few 100€ more than expected.

Sie 2 Sterne bekommt Hertz nur, weil das Auto wirklich im guten, neuwertigen Zustand war. Leider hatten wir fast 2 Stunden Verspätung, was natürlich dazu führte, dass wir erst kurz nach 0 Uhr in Riga ankamen. Der Kollege am Mietwagenschalter war so unfreundlich, wie wir es so noch nie auf Reisen erlebt haben. Als erstes wurde uns plump mitgeteilt, dass wir ja zu spät sind und somit 40 € bezahlen müssen. Ich verstehe es voll und ganz, dass das Personal bezahlt werden muss und man für eine Verspätung etwas bezahlen muss. Wo mein Verständnis aber aufhört ist, wenn man einfach arrogant und unfreundlich behandelt wird. Nunja, dann war es wohl ein Problem, dass wir nur" eine Debit Kreditkarte hatten

Horrible experience with this business. Extra charges upon arrival that were not disclosed during the booking, the person at the desk was rude and unhelpful and now we have been charged €730 for damage to the car that we did not cause. If you are using this company, make sure to take a video of the car in good lighting as they will try to charge you for damage that was already there. Whole experience felt very unprofessional and like a scam. Definitely avoid them if possible.

Finger weg von dieser Autovermietung an diesem Ort !!!Ich kann die hier aufgeführten negativen Kritiken nur bestätigen.Auch uns, versuchte man, bei der Fahrzeugrückgabe Schäden unterzujubeln.Erst als wir mit Fotos und Anwälte sowie Strafanzeige gedroht haben, ruderte man zurück, als handelte es sich um ein Missverständnis.Die Kaution von € 700.- ist noch nicht zurückerstattet worden.Eine Schweinerei ohnegleichen. Nie wieder Hertz RIGA

Poor return experience:1) No staff in return lot2) No signage about what steps to take to return vehicle. However, the competitors had signs. I guess Avis really does try harder.3) No signage about how to get to the terminal so that we can find the counter to return the key.4) Agent at counter gave poor excuse for why there's no signage.5) Multi-day wait for receipt.6) They signed my vehicle inspection for me with a giant blob. There was no damage but I think that's illegal.

Pour commencer, afin de louer une de leurs voitures, il faut s’assurer d’avoir une carte de crédit et non de débit. L’information n’est pas claire sur le site. Nous voilà donc avec notre carte de débit à devoir payer un supplément de 17€ par jour si nous voulons la voiture, sinon tant pis pour nous, pas de voiture et 50€ de pré-location envolés. (Au passage ils ont pu utiliser notre carte de débit sans souci pour geler la caution, à quoi bon réclamer une carte de crédit ?)La location passe donc de 50€ à 90€ pour deux jours de location au lieu de 4 à l’origine (nous avons dû écourter pour ne pas payer plus cher).Mais voilà au moment de rendre la voiture, on nous facture 37€ d’essence car la jauge est à 7/8 selon eux (l’aiguille indiquait que la voiture était remplie lorsque nous avons remis l’essence). Apparemment il manquait 8 litres. Nous voilà donc avec une facture finale de 136€ au lieu de 50€ initialement. Au passage on ne comprend toujours pas la somme de 136€.Morale de l’histoire : évitez cette agence de location. Si jamais vous louez une voiture là-bas, pensez à prendre une carte de crédit et non de débit. Pensez à prendre en photo le plein d’essence pour ne pas avoir de souci !
