Do not use this company ever! They are only thieves.. I rented a car for 10 days in july in Riga. I paid 390EUR for it.. But they are still getting money from my credit card without my permission. They use my credit card as easy as i do, like it is our mutual card!!. I m sharing my e-mail to them you to understand the situation

Don't use this company as there are cheating with deposit. They didn't tag all marks before I took a car. It was night time, the car was not enough clean to notice the small scratch on the rear arc, that 2-3 cm scratch notice only in the morning, and they charge me 100 Euro for that!! It's a fraud, I can guarantee they done that before with somebody else. People please don't be quite, we need to stop them cheating on non fault ones. Also they charging 20 Euro's extra for collection car at late time, it's disgusting!!! Never saw so bad rental company. Be aware!!

We spent a family trip with the children in Riga, just a week, and decided to rent a car with Auto5. I am a good driver, I have no records of fines, at least in the last decade of driving throughout Europe. Soon after we finished our trip, I was notified by Auto5 that I was fined for speeding (25€), and in addition, that they would charge me an extra 30€ penalty for management. This was only the first of THREE fines I received, allegedly for speeding, everyone of them with an abusive additional 30€ penalty of management. Auto5 first charges the fine+penalty on your credit card and then notifies you, so there's nothing you can do about it. This is our story, draw you own conclussions yourself. But for us, renting with Auto5 was the only negative note of our trip.

Highly recommend. Whole process was very smooth. Staff speaks English very well.Car was new, 1.5l. Automatic. Drives easily, well maintained.Not one of the fraudulent companies, that charge you for nothing and take your deposit.I am flying to Riga every 3 months. Will be renting again.

Everything was perfect. We had a late fight, Auto5 staff was waiting for us. We needed two different child seats and they were available. Car was waiting for us exactly as I booked Toyota avensis. Car was brand new only 12K kmAnother great service from AUTO 5. I used them last year did it this year again (2019). Great car, great price and service!

Auto 5 is run by scammers, when I went to collect the car the person in the office gave me the doc and asked me to sign and said it was dark for him to see all damages so if I find more damage not recorded, not to worry. It was naïve for me to assume I am dealing with honest company and I signed, I found damage to the back bumper so took the car back to the office, but he was already gone, I thought he would honor his words and I should not to worry. After I returned the car and back to the UK, I got an email saying I have caused a damage and they are going to repair it on my own cost and deduct that cost from the deposit, I am fuming and feel disgusted by such cheap dirty company, they office staff are simply running a scam, the company offers cheaper deals to attract the business then they would use any trick to get your money. I am reporting them to the police and the relevant authority and getting legal advice on how to take the company to court, but you can imagine the stress and the bitter taste you feel when you are rubbed only because you acted nice and assumed that you are dealing with an honest business and honest staff. And yes, the cost of repair is about 88% of the deposit! Avoid at any cost, also don’t be fooled like me, I should have refused to get the car with any minor damage, and understood that a company that rent its cars in this condition is a rubbish business!

Used them a couple of times now through Ryanair website. They are located just outside the main terminal and they are really friendly to deal with when picking up the car. They give out slightly older cars but they are in great nick. I would definitely continue to use them. And there have been no issues after I have returned the car.

Was using this car rental many times before, but this time they took a EUR500 deposit out of the mastercard and instead of keeping it under pending transactions and unfreezing it immediatey after return of the car like it happens in all reputable companies and like they did before, they said their new bank they use will keep it for a month!!!! It is illegal as they are using customers money to earn an interest! Who does know where should I formally complain?? Otherwise, the car itself and service was ok, no issues. Won't be using this company anymore unfortunately
