This concert hall is located outside of city center thus boasts large capacity with an indoor chill area, while within a few minutes ride from train and bus station. Large bar is served by two tenders so waiting queue is fast, but it has neither kitchen nor tables. Club has a VIP area with seats and is mostly venue for metal and alternative music shows. While a half thousand crowd is raving it may be hard to distinguish the lyrics and the place might need refurbishing, but it is worth a visit merely due to impressive history of world's top bands performing and leaving autographs.

If i could put 0 stars I would. Went to a concert in this place, terrible experience. First of all, it was very understaffed, like two woman guards and one guy trying to handle 200-250 people, including checking their tickets, which was slow. They do not let you pay for tickets with card, which is like a 20th century thing nowadays to not be able to do so. The same guards also were filming people and kind of laughing about people which seemed ridiculously unprofessional. The concert also had sound problems and we had to wait like 10 minutes (which is a lot for a live concert) until some guy showed up to check the wiring and fix the problem. Club is on the second floor, and the floor was shaking as if it was gonna collapse at any point which seemed extremely unsafe and could potentially harm visitors or even cause death if something occurs. Also there were very terribly fixed large subwoofers which could also fall on someone. There was like 0 ventilation inside, felt like in a sauna and there was nothing to breathe. On top of everything, for some reason they just interrupted the artists mid show and told that the show has to be stopped, so we missed out like half of the show and had to just go away. Would never visit this place and never recommend it to others as well.

*Pro*- Attracts pretty decent bands sometimes- Has an adequate number of seats for chilling and people that aren't that much into moshpits*Con*- The place should be called Asphyxiation". We attended a rather small concert in the middle of summer (~200 people inside) and you could feel that there's no air to breathe right when you step inside the main hall. What's worse is that it's been like this for years and owners (there's been a few) don't seem to care- If a band doesn't come with their own sound guy

Legendary and unique concert hall in Riga with its own atmosphere. Sound quality isn't that great but pretty tolerable for the such scale club imo. Although the club is not ideal and has some cons, it's still worth visiting, tons of outstanding prominent bands were performing here.

Small but comfortable venue. As a non-smoker would be happier to smell less of the smoke from smokers area at the stage

MP has a cozy sofas in addition to traditional stage and dancing area. Bar is rather good.Great foreign bands invited regulary, though we also have really good local bands.Sound technician sometimes goes crazy, but in overall sound is good

Drink selection is subpar, coat hanging for pay in cash only, seat area could be better and location itself is weird
