Rooms were fine, but they should start respecting the people staying. If there's a bunch of artards blastic loud music in fron of the hotel, take care of it.

Review: Park Hotel Latgola, DaugavpilsRating: ⭐⭐☆☆☆I am compelled to share a disappointing experience at the Park Hotel Latgola in Daugavpils. Despite the hotel's convenient location in the town's centre, several elements fell considerably short of expectations, deserving no more than a two-star rating.The hotel itself felt quite dated, a sense that permeated through all aspects of our stay. The TV in our room, already small, only had access to four channels due to some unexplained issue. The aesthetics and functionality of the rooms left much to be desired, with broken tiles and fixtures hanging off the walls.Our experience with the staff was underwhelming. There was a lack of warm customer service, a simple 'hello' seemed too much to ask. The indifference was especially prominent during breakfast where the staff were unresponsive and dismissive. Furthermore, there was no clarity about the breakfast procedure, leaving us to navigate an unfamiliar environment on our own.The quality of sleep we got during our stay was impacted by constant noise. Partygoers in the parking lot kept us up at night in the first room, while the second room was disturbed by what sounded like a large air conditioner or generator running throughout the night.Breakfast at the hotel was a letdown. The options were scant, and the offerings appeared to have remained unchanged for years. The monotony of the same breakfast every day further diminished the dining experience.However, not all was negative. After being shifted to another room due to an undisclosed spraying activity, we were treated to a complimentary minibar. While this gesture was appreciated, the disturbance of having to move rooms so late into our stay was less than ideal.In summary, Park Hotel Latgola seems to be coasting on its central location, but the lack of upkeep, poor customer service, and persistent noise issues significantly detract from the overall experience. While the free minibar was a nice touch, it's a mere band-aid on an array of bigger issues. For these reasons, I can only justify a two-star rating.

Under hotel amenities it says air conditioning. This is a lie, the rooms do not have air conditioning. They are hot and stuffy. Not like you can even open a window either.Avoid

Never again!!! The smell of chlorine in the room, the window can hardly be opened, and a concrete wall 1m outside the window - something terrible

We have not stayed in the actual hotel so far (we stay with the family) but have lunched at the Plaza restaurant at the very top of this hotel, and it's always been a truly amazing experience. Fresh, yummy and beautifully presented local food, very good portions, polite and helpful staff and very reasonable prices. Be sure to check out their business lunch" offer

Not a great hotel, shabby hallways with filthy carpet, worn-out rooms, dreaded curtains, very dated bathroom with rusty tub and shaded shower curtain and poor beds. Above all an airco blowing almost no cold air and these big hotel towers can get really hot during the summer. We booked the business class rooms, so I don't even want to know what the standard rooms are like.Opening a window isn't a good idea, because the local youth of Daugavpils has little else to do, except gathering on the car park in front of the hotel with their tuned cars and boom-box car stereo's till the early hours.If you like to experience what a former Sovjet hotel stay had to offer in comfort, you can book this hotel. Even the poor sorted, tasteless breakfast with sticky floors, badly washed dishes and grumpy service is completely in style.
