Good place, with guarded fence and cctv.Owner is friendly and ask very small pay to stay.Just 50m away is the sea, u can have camp fire, u get also toilet (fine), water and some extras. Good place for camping!

Simple camping site for overnight stay. Directly by the sea. Very helpful and friendly staff. Solanka soup 5*. If you don't expect luxury - that's the place to choose at Kolka.

Camping ok. There was no warm water and toilets are not perfect. But nice location.

Even though the toilet smelled horribly and the shower had just cold water( it was cloudy so the barrel with water didn’t worm up), the staff was very friendly. Just 50m from the sea. Nice fireplace’s and stools around.

I understand why people have been complaining about the toilets. I think they were fine, smelly, but ok to use :) The staff is very friendly. They also have outdoor showers that are also fine, not hot tho. The beach in front is beautiful. It was also very calm campground which I enjoyed.

Viss (lokācija, personāls, vēss alus un gardi sklandrauši kioskā) ir ļoti labi, izņemot tualetes - tās ir drausmīgas. Divas sausās tualetes uz tik lielu cilvēku daudzumu no sanitārā aspekta tomēr nav īsti adekvāti.

We spent a few days here in the middle of the week. The nights were quiet. The campsite is simple but generally maintained and tidy. Toilets, showers, wash basins are very primitive. Since we were traveling with a camper, this was irrelevant for us. The water here is ferrous and thus brownish. This can irritate. However, the location of the campsite itself is excellent. The sea is right here. Don't be lazy to get up early and meet the sunrise at the sea. It is a rare opportunity. The beach here is narrow but charming, lined with fallen trees. You can walk along the beach and in 30 minutes at a leisurely pace reach the Cape of Kolka. There is a Citro shop nearby if you need something.

The woman who runs the place is unstable. We confirmed the day before that she would have a tent and sleeping bags available for us to rent when we got there. We took a 4h bus ride from Riga because of this information. Upon arrival we were provided a tent with holes in the roof! And a storm was coming! When we confronted her, she said that we can leave if we don’t like it and that we are unprepared for camping (we were prepared to rent a tent with a roof;)). She was extremely rude and I’ve never experienced such awful customer service. We weren’t able to get out of Kolka that night so we were forced to stay in the tent with holes after covering it with some plastic borrowed from other campers. Worst customer service in my life.
