THANK HEAVEN FOR THIS REPAIR-SHOP! On 30.06.2023 I was on my way from Finland back home to where I live in Poland and had with my Hayabusa just passed by Riga, when all of a sudden my motorbike began shaking and shivering on an even road while I could not see a reason for this: no flat tyre, no fault visible. However I could not drive straight forward any more and it occurred to me, that rather my back wheel was deciding the course than me! It was a terrible situation and seemed extremely dangerous to me: it was absolutely impossible to continue riding. I finally made it by very slow speed into Jelgava, where I found by way of internet this repair-shop: and what’s more, it was even open and working on this Friday afternoon at 15:50, when I appeared. The owner himself was not present, but he spoke English with me on telephone and then explained to one of his employees, what had happened. The rear wheel was taken off and we found the bearing-wheel broken with all the many balls rolling out. Now the father of the owner appeared on the scene, himself being enthusiastic motocyklist and speaking English as well: so he explained to me, that either we look for spare parts in town now or a courier might bring spare parts tomorrow on Saturday, while I could stay in his home for the night without costs. In spite of this generous offer I chose the immediate solution, because I had a hotel booking for the night on the coast, which could not be cancelled. So with little hope we 2 set off for a gross metallic dealer in town, who - to my surprise - had all necessary parts, exept for one ring, that was 1 mm to big. So we set off again this time for a locksmith on the other end of town, to do the necessary work for us. Also he did this on the Friday afternoon. Then back to the garage, where the employee fitted the spare parts into the rear wheel and handed my Hayabusa back to me at 17:30! THEY WOULD NOT EVEN TAKE PAYMENT FOR THEIR WORKING TIME FROM ME!!! So I reached my destination that very evening still in time - for which I owe an incredibly big THANK YOU to this extremely helpful repair-shop south of Riga!!!
