Unique museum , for people who are in the medical field is a must see. It’s also a good historical museum. Ticket is very cheap and the place is nice and quiet, highly recommended.

This place is kinda cool because it has interesting material. For us it felt like it has more potential than what you can actually see. The museum also lacks more information in English, the possibility to touch some of the the stuff.

Ļoti patika. Dažādi zāļu svari, zāļu sievas namiņš, un daudz ko varēja uzzināt par zāļu tējām. Paldies meitenēm, kuras mūs izklaidēja ar dejām, kamēr stāvējām rindā pie ieejas.

A good museum. I was a little let down with some of it as I believe my expectations were slightly higher. It also does not accommodate English speakers very well as nothing was labeled in English. I would probably take a guided tour if I were to do it again. What was neat was the medieval/witch vibe you got with the live actor in the basement. Not to mention the tickets were very cheap!

Small yet quite interesting museum of old pharmacological instruments, books ,plants, etcThe staff are helpful and explain everything in a simple and funny way that gets everyone engaged.There’re many rooms you can’t enter and things you can’t touch ,but it’s understandable because they’re valuable, old and fragile.You can find English translation almost on everything. English, Russian and Latvian brochures are available.
