Dzīvot var. Koplietojamās telpas uzkopj regulāri. Iespējama atkritumu šķirošana. Ēka slēgta ar ieejas karšu sistēmu.

Rooms are not furnished in most of the floors. The kitchen have cockroaches inside walls and ceilings, they get into gaps in the ceiling. Maxima and Akropole Alfa is very close to this place. You may find bolt scooter outside .

Rooms are okay, services are fine. Placement is great, there are 2 malls nearby, although its' somewhat far from the center.Unfortunately, there's a massive roach problem that seems to be neglected by the staff. I had to spend money on springing up traps that were semi-effective.Do not store your food outside of any cover. Use fridges and bread boxes and seal away *everything* you own. I am sorry, but with all due respect, the amount of roaches is simply ridiculous and inexcusable. It kills the mood, the wish to cook and can simply disgust you to the point of making you sick.Foreign students in particular - exchange or otherwise - often leave a mess after they are done cooking in the kitchen (3rd floor), which turns the kitchen into a roach breeding ground. Please give them warnings or punishments of some kind, I've seen it myself multiple times and local, i.e., Latvian students can often be seen complaining about the foreigners' neglect of basic hygiene and ethical standards. There's a foreigner couple that regularly smokes and I had to tell them away a few times for smoking right next to the dorm entrance, because otherwise the smoke ends up on the upper floors and forces me to close the window for that reason (being a non-smoker myself).The building *needs* a systematic purge of roaches often, if possible. Afterwards, the whole place would improve.Sadly, the damage has been done and I had no choice but to relocate to another RTU dorm - as a LU student, no less.
